Description

Easy and delicious breakfast you can make your own.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice White Bread
  • 1 Tablespoon Unslated Butter
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Cooked Bacon (Optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Shredded Cheddar (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Crumbled Goat Cheese (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Chopped Chives (optional)

Preparation

With a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass, press a hole in the center of the slice of bread.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter. When the butter bubbles, place the piece of bread and the hole remnant in the skillet and crack the egg into the center of hole.

Cook for about a minute. Sprinkle the egg with salt and pepper or any of the optional toppings. Flip it over with a spatula.

Cook until the yolk feels soft but not gooey or underdone.

Plate, dip in your circle of deliciousness into the hole, and enjoy!
