Description
These are super easy to make and unbelievably tasty. And the colour of the figs is so pretty! This recipe yields 8 pieces, so there’s a couple of pieces for 4 people as a little snack or appetizer. They are perfect little two-bitters.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 8 slices Ciabatta Bread, 1/2 Inch Thick Each
- 4 Tablespoons Goat Cheese
- 4 slices Prosciutto, Each Slice Halved
- 4 Figs, Sliced
- ¼ cups Arugula
- 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
Preparation
Brush olive oil on bread. Place sliced bread on sheet pan and broil for about 2 minutes, until golden.
Spread each piece with 1/2 tablespoon goat cheese, 1/2 slice of prosciutto (cut that half into half again so it is easy to bite through; if not, you might drag all the other toppings off when you bite), 2 to 3 pieces of sliced figs and 1 to 2 leaves of arugula. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and honey and top with black pepper.
