Description
Firecracker shrimp are fried shrimp coated in a creamy, sweet and spicy sauce, piled on top of a huge bowl of greens!
Ingredients
- ½ cups Mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon Sweet Chili Sauce
- ¼ cups Sriracha Sauce
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- 1 pound Shrimp
- ½ cups Cornstarch
- 2 cups Flavorless Oil (Vegetable, Canola, Or Grapeseed), For Frying
- 2 cups Pre-washed Greens
- 2 Green Onions, Chopped
Preparation
Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha sauce, and salt and set aside.
Peel and devein the shrimp and coat in corn starch.
In a deep pan, heat oil to 350ºF and fry shrimp about 2 minutes. Fry in small batches and do not overcrowd the pan.
Toss shrimp in sauce.
Put greens in a bowl, top with fried shrimp, and garnish with chopped green onions.
