Ingredients
- FOR THE WINGS:
- 15 whole Wings, Split At Joints (or 30 Pieces If You’re Buying Pre-cut Wings)
- ¼ cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil , Or Enough To Coat The Wings
- 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper, Or To Taste
- FOR THE SAUCE:
- ½ sticks Butter
- ¼ cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 5 cloves Garlic, Finely Grated
- ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper, Or To Taste (optional)
Preparation
For grilled wings:
Coat the wings with olive oil, salt and pepper and grill over low heat for 60–75 minutes.
For baked wings:
Place the wings on a rimmed baking sheet. Coat with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and bake at 425°F for 20–30 minutes.
For fried wings: L
ightly coat the wings with flour, salt and pepper. Fry at 375°F for 9 minutes.
For the garlic Parmesan sauce:
Melt the butter, then add the extra virgin olive oil, grated garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Stir the sauce until all the ingredients are combined, then simmer for a few minutes, stirring frequently. Season with black pepper if desired.
When the wings and sauce are done, place the wings in the sauce pan (about 6 at a time) and stir/toss to coat, then remove from pan and serve immediately.
