Description
Sweet, juicy August peaches make an irresistible smoothie and Greek style yogurt makes it seem rich and decadent.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Peach, Pitted
- 1 whole Banana, Frozen
- ½ cups Greek Syle Fat Free Yogurt
- ½ cups Low Fat Milk
- 4 sprigs Mint
- 1 Tablespoon Simple Syrup (or Other Sweetener)
- 1 dash Salt
Preparation
Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until completely smooth.
The recipe makes approximately 14 ounces so you can have one tall smoothie for yourself or two 7-ounce glasses to share. Note that I find it easiest to peel the banana and place it in a plastic baggie before freezing it.
