Description
Pimento Cheese is great on burgers, sandwiches, celery, bell pepper, crackers, pork skins … and the list goes on and on. Southerns will tell you it’s good on anything, and they are right!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, weight Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 4 ounces, weight Pimentos
- ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
- 4 Tablespoons Mayonnasie
- 3 Tablespoons Diced Jalapeno Peppers
Preparation
Note: Make sure cream cheese is softened before trying to mix it.
Grate chedder cheese. You can use pre-shredded cheese but I usually hand grate it, because the consistency of the final product is so much better.
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly, and then refrigerate. It’s best to let it sit for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend.
