A fun twist on the traditional caprese salad! It’s a quick and easy recipe that is sure to please at your next dinner party.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, fluid Mozzarella, Sliced
- 5 Tomatoes On The Vine, Sliced
- 3 Tablespoons Capers, Lightly Drained
- 4 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- ¼ cups Roasted Red Peppers, Lightly Drained And Roughly Chopped
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- ½ cups Basil, Sliced In Ribbons
- Olive Oil, For Drizzling
Preparation
Place sliced mozzarella on top of sliced tomatoes. Continue alternating tomato and mozzarella slices along edge of serving platter.
Sprinkle capers and garlic on top of tomatoes and mozzarella. Place roasted red peppers in center of serving platter. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle sliced basil on top of tomatoes. Lightly drizzle with olive oil to taste. Enjoy!
