Sun-dried tomatoes add a flavorful kick to homemade hummus! Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15oz. Cans) Chickpeas, Drained And Rinsed
- 2 cloves Garlic, Peeled And Crushed
- 1 jar (8-10 Oz Jar) Sun-dried Tomatoes In Olive Oil
- 1 cup Tahini
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- ½ cups Lemon Juice (for 1/2 Cup You’ll Need About 4 Lemons)
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt (or More To Taste)
- 1-½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- ½ cups Sesame Oil
Preparation
Put chickpeas, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and oil, tahini, tomato paste, lemon juice, salt and smoked paprika into a food processor or blender and process until well combined and smooth. Drizzle in sesame oil while blending, adding more if you want a thinner consistency. Adjust seasonings to taste. Add more oil, lemon juice or tomato paste if needed. Serve with a drizzle of oil.
