COMBINATION FRIED RICE


Incorporate any leftover meat into the mixed fried rice. The spicy garlic sauce amps up the heat, and once opened, it can be stored in the refrigerator indefinitely.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped cooked meat
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 3 cups rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Asian chili garlic sauce
Instructions
- 1 tablespoon of oil, heated Heat the frying pan over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes, then add the eggs and gently stir for 1 minute, or until lightly disturbed. Remove the eggs from the pan and split them.
- 2 tbsp of residual heat In a frying pan, heat the oil; add the onions and bell peppers and cook for another 3 minutes. Cook for 2 minutes after adding the chopped cooked meat and peas. Stir in the rice, soy sauce, and chili paste for 5 minutes, or until thoroughly heated. The eggs should be whisked. If desired, decorate.
