This sunny recipe, intensely scented with oregano, is finished with slices of fresh tomato and mozzarella, making it ideal for any occasion.

  • bread dough400 gr
  • farina200 gr
  • mozzarella200 gr
  • tomatoes3
  • salted anchovy10 fillets
  • dried oregano1 tablespoon
  • extra virgin olive oil4 tbsp
  • capers in salt1 tablespoon


    1. Wash and peel the tomatoes, then cut them into rings after squeezing them slightly to remove the seeds and vegetation water.
    2. Thinly slice the mozzarella and rinse the capers and anchovy fillets under running water before patting them dry with absorbent kitchen paper. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
    3. Knead the bread dough on a floured work surface for a few minutes, spreading it evenly with your hands. Line a round pan with the dough, keeping the edges thicker and reinforced. Grease the pan with half of the extra virgin olive oil. Alternate the mozzarella and tomato slices on the surface, then arrange the anchovies and capers.
    4. Sprinkle with the chopped garlic and oregano, season with the remaining extra virgin olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 230 ° C.
