  • 1 white fish fillet
  • 1/4 onion
  • Juice of 1/2 small lemon
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 nails

    1. Boiled fish is a simple dish that is quick to prepare and light because it is cooked fish that does not absorb fat. I take it when I'm on a diet, sometimes alone and sometimes with cooked vegetables or a poached egg, as I recommend doing in this boiled fish recipe.
    2. To begin making boiled fish, combine the following ingredients in a saucepan: a tablespoon of oil, a pinch of salt, onion, cloves, bay leaf, pepper (to taste), lemon juice, fish fillet, and enough water to cover everything.
    3. We place it over the fire and leave it to simmer so that the fish does not crumble while cooking. Your cooked fish will be ready in a few minutes.
    4. Remove the boiled fish from the water, place it on a plate, and top with a poached egg and a little caviar substitute if desired.
