Drunk dogs


Although these dogs are made with beer and brown sugar, they are always a big hit with our friends and family. They should be simmering for at least 60 minutes on the stove. When serving, we usually place them in a slow cooker to keep them warm. Skewer these little treats with toothpicks.

Ingredients
- 2 (16-ounce) packages beef hot dogs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 can (12 fl oz) or bottle of beer
Instructions
- Place the hot dogs, brown sugar, and beer in a medium saucepan. Bring it to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for at least 1 hour.
