Total Time 45 minutes

  • 4 money
  • ½ sprig of vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 80 grams of raisins

    1. Put 1 liter of water in a saucepan and heat it up. Cook the mixture for a few moments, stirring constantly, after adding the vanilla, honey, and sugar. Allow the raisins to soak for a few minutes in warm water to hydrate.
    2. Remove the pears from the stems and place them in the syrup. Cook for 25 minutes, or until they are al dente (it depends on their size and their point of maturity). Add the raisins about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
    3. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool in the syrup. Serve with the raisins and syrup on top of each plate. Citrus should be used to flavor the syrup. Cook a little sweet wine with 1 glass of juice (orange or lemon) and honey to make it with a hint of orange or lemon. Then, proceed as directed in the recipe.
