RIB EYE STEAK WITH ONIONS


The most traditional of steaks, flavored with onions, pairs well with a robust red wine, such as a Chianti or an important Teroldego.

Ingredients
- 4 ribs of beef
- 2 large enough onions
- 30 g of butter
- 3 cl of olive oil
- 1 dl of white wine
- 20 g of flour
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
Instructions
- Place half of the extra virgin olive oil and the butter in a pan over medium heat and, once the butter has melted, add the onion cut into thin slices and brown slowly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- When the onions are golden blond, set them aside and brown the floured ribs on both sides in a pan with the remaining butter and oil. Season with salt and pepper, then add the onions and cook for a few minutes more.
- Place the ribs on a serving dish and top with the onions.
