Canned pears in syrup


Today's recipe is for a healthy canning of pears in syrup, which is an ideal food for you to use in sweet rolls, to decorate tartelets or cakes, and to be able to keep it for up to six months, in an airtight container.

Ingredients
- 1 kilo of pears
- 1 liter of water
- 250 grams of sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- To begin, peel all of the pears, remove the core, and cut them into pieces. Then, in a pot, combine the sugar and water and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Combine the pears and lemon juice in this preparation.
- Then, for about 8 minutes, bring this preparation to a boil. Remove and place in glass jars with hermetic lids, cover with syrup, and sterilize for 25 minutes in a water bath. Allow to cool before storing until ready to use.
