Jo Jo's potatoes recipe

These are delicious, and you can change the spice mix to a Mexican flavor and serve with nacho cheese sauce.

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon lemon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder


    1. Combine the flour, garlic powder, lemon pepper, celery salt, onion powder, and seasoning salt in a shallow dish.
    2. Dip the potato slices in the egg, followed by the spice mixture.
    3. Preheat the fryer to 190° C. (375 degrees F). Fry the potatoes in hot oil for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown. Cook in batches to keep the oil temperature stable. Drain for a few minutes on paper towels. Serve immediately.
